Homework due to Canvas each Thursday by 5 pm:

 1)  Read Anne Lamott's essay "Shitty First Drafts" and respond to the questions following the article.

 2) Summarize and respond to: What is Plagiarism? 

 1st paragraph is the summary of the article; 2nd paragraph is your response and acknowledgement that you understand won't commit plagiarism.

 

Week 2

  3. Citation Machine Works Cited List practice exercise:

Go to any of the citation machine websites listed at the bottom of the Documentation page - scroll all the way down - and create a correct

MLA formatted Works Cited List for the article in the textbook (which is called an anthology) you are using for your essay. Then you will cut and paste your resulting Works Cited List citation into the assignment response.

 

Tues - Computer Lab - Bring your draft on a flash drive or have it available online - work on drafts of Essay One
